1. About this Privacy Policy
Momzy Private Limited ("Momzy", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it may be shared, and the choices available to you when you use the Momzy app, website and related services.
2. Information We Collect
When you create or use a Momzy account, we may collect your name, mobile number, email address, login information, address, city/location, baby age and information relating to your postpartum journey. Depending on the service you use, information may include delivery type, breastfeeding/lactation information, nutrition and diet information, weight and height, emotional wellbeing information, consultation notes and consultation history. We do not currently require users to upload medical reports or other medical documents.
3. Store and Order Information
If you purchase Momzy products, we collect information needed to process and deliver the order, including delivery address and phone number, and maintain order information.
4. Consultation Information
Relevant information you provide during consultations may be made available to the professional providing that service. Depending on the service, professionals may include dietitians, lactation consultants, psychologists/therapists and yoga or wellness professionals. Professionals may be able to see your name and relevant previous consultation history needed to provide continuity of care.
5. Consultation Recording
Video consultations may be recorded for quality control, service review and improvement. Users will be informed where recording is taking place. Momzy does not intend to retain the resulting audio/video recordings after the relevant quality-control purpose has been completed.
6. How We Use Information
We use information to create and manage accounts; provide consultations and other services; maintain consultation notes and history; process and deliver product orders; communicate with you about services, orders and appointments; provide reminders and personalised recommendations; maintain security and prevent misuse; understand and improve our services; conduct anonymised or aggregated analytics and research; support AI-enabled features and service improvement; and comply with legal obligations.
7. AI and Technology Services
Momzy may use technology and AI service providers, including OpenAI services, to support certain features or improve systems. Where an AI-enabled feature is used, information submitted for that feature may be processed by the relevant service provider. Momzy does not use your health or consultation information for personalised advertising.
8. Analytics and Technical Information
We use services including Firebase, Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app usage, diagnose crashes, improve performance and maintain security.
9. Service Providers and Sharing
We may share information with service providers who help us operate Momzy, including AWS and Azure; analytics and crash-reporting providers; Zoom; Razorpay; WhatsApp and email providers; delivery/courier partners; and professionals involved in providing requested services. We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
10. Payments
Payments are processed through Razorpay and supported payment methods such as cards, bank transfers and UPI. Momzy does not store your card, bank-account or UPI credentials. Payment providers may process payment information under their own policies and applicable requirements.
11. Marketing and Advertising
We may send service-related and promotional communications by email, WhatsApp and push notifications. You may opt out of promotional communications using available preference mechanisms. Health and consultation information is not used to create personalised advertising for you.
12. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
13. Data Retention
We retain information as reasonably necessary to provide services, operate the platform, meet legal or regulatory requirements, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. When you request account deletion, health and consultation information will be deleted subject to applicable legal or operational retention requirements. Certain basic user or transaction information may need to be retained where required.
14. Your Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information and may opt out of promotional communications. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, subject to applicable requirements.
15. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your Momzy account through the deletion mechanism made available by Momzy. Where required, Momzy will also provide an external web-based route for account deletion. Deletion may result in loss of access to your account, consultation history and other services. Some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
16. Children
Momzy is intended for individuals aged 18 years and above. Momzy does not knowingly target children or knowingly collect children’s personal information for the purpose of offering services to them.
17. Third-Party Services
Momzy may use third-party services such as Zoom, Razorpay, WhatsApp, Google services, Firebase, AWS, Azure and other providers. Their handling of information is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
18. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be made available through Momzy and will state its effective date.
